Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trade Marketing Specialist to lead and execute trade marketing strategies for our brand portfolio. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Brand, Finance, and Operations, to drive revenue growth, enhance profitability, and strengthen key account relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Trade Marketing Strategy:
    • Develop and manage the annual trade marketing calendar for brands and channels.
    • Identify and capitalize on customer-specific and channel marketing opportunities by linking shopper insights to brand strategies.
  2. Product Introduction:
    • Plan and implement strategies for new product launches and line extensions, ensuring distribution, pricing, shelving, and merchandising goals are met.
  3. Sales and Key Account Management:
    • Collaborate with regional teams to develop and execute sales plans.
    • Drive national scale-up and profitability for key account and BA (Brand Ambassador) initiatives.
  4. Budgeting and Financial Acumen:
    • Anchor annual budgeting and cost optimization efforts in partnership with the Finance team.
    • Provide financial insights to support business decisions and conduct post-analysis to evaluate performance.
  5. Execution and Analysis:
    • Leverage analytics and dashboards to monitor activities and make data-driven adjustments to enhance performance.
    • Track competitor activities, including trade and consumer offers, new launches, and activations.
  6. Collaboration and Coordination:
    • Work closely with regional trade marketing and commercial teams to ensure seamless rollout of trade initiatives and reconciliation of spending.
  7. Portfolio Objectives:
    • Support the achievement of portfolio objectives related to distribution, reach, and volume targets.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong self-starter mentality with the ability to independently manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with inquisitiveness to identify opportunities and drive value creation.
  • Exceptional copywriting and proofreading skills with fluency in written and verbal communication.
  • Proven ability to manage projects effectively, ensuring tasks are completed within deadlines and aligned with business priorities.
  • Financial acumen and experience in budget management, cost optimization, and post-campaign analysis.
