Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Stock Management Specialist to oversee warehouse ordering and replenishment operations across multiple product categories, including department stores, bazaar, frozen, fresh, and refrigerated goods. The ideal candidate will manage supplier relationships, ensure inventory efficiency, and collaborate with various teams to optimize stock performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage warehouse ordering and replenishment processes for diverse product categories, ensuring optimal stock levels for department stores, bazaars, and perishable goods (frozen, fresh, refrigerated).
  2. Coordinate daily ordering plans with suppliers, focusing on sales performance, inventory turnover, loss rates, and out-of-stock rates.
  3. Serve as a key liaison between the warehouse and suppliers, addressing and resolving delivery-related issues, including scheduling, supplier deliveries, and arrival discrepancies.
  4. Support promotional activities by placing and adjusting orders for promotional products, monitoring sales performance, and ensuring timely stock adjustments.
  5. Identify and address inventory anomalies, including high stock levels, aging inventory, low sales performance, and discontinued items.
  6. Collaborate with the team to complete stock management initiatives and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Skills & Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in stock management within the retail or distribution industry, preferably with expertise in bazaar, frozen, fresh, and refrigerated product ordering.
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related data analysis tools, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  3. Comprehensive understanding of merchandise categories and inventory metrics, including turnover rates, stock aging, and out-of-stock management, with the ability to independently manage the full purchase-to-sale inventory lifecycle.
  4. Strong communication skills, a high sense of responsibility, and exceptional attention to detail, with a proactive and hands-on approach to tasks.
  5. A bachelor’s degree is required. Proficiency in English (listening, reading, and writing) is preferred.
